this photo is me (Claire, I'm Claire) in my purest working form: in motion and thrilled to be here.
I'm Claire! I'm a lot of things: an easy-laugher, a wife and mom, a coffee-drinker, radio lover, frequent dancer, and happy camper. I have too many tabs open and too many books checked out from the library. I've got two kids and my husband is my second camera and assistant on wedding days.
I do this job because I love it and it's an utter gift to be able to do it professionally. I used my fair share of disposable and point-and-shoot cameras when I was a kid but was too shy to ask to take people's pictures until I was a full grown adult. I'm a morning person who loves a good nap.

I love a pretty park as much as the next photographer but I love documenting the places that mean the most to you even more.

Messy hair, big laughter, kids in motion, smiles (both soft and...not so soft), that's what we're here for.

natural editing
I like an edit that feels natural while enhancing the moment. Also, don't worry about zits and scrapes--anything temporary disappears.
the team
David is my husband and I think we make the best team. He's my second photographer on wedding days, and is everywhere and anywhere that I'm not. His eye surprises and delights me--and more often than not, it's one of his shots that ends up on the thank you card (it's fine it's all fine).
