the approach

the most important thing a wedding photographer can remember is to pack plenty of batteries. the second most important thing to remember is that the photos support the wedding, not the other way around.

my couples usually think the most important things at their wedding are good food, good friends, gettin' hitched, and good photos to remember it by after.

my approach to covering a wedding day is a mix of candid and classic, with emphasis on working efficiently and unobtrusively (family photos are priceless, but spending more than 20 minutes on them is not) and observation (so I don't miss a moment). you can expect a gallery that's rich with the emotion of the day, while still getting to attend your own cocktail hour.

for barn-burners and fetes, for weddings that need all-day coverage starting at getting ready, all the way to getting cheered out the door at the end of the night.
